UK training academy opened by TV One
Nortek Pro AV company TV One has opened a Training Academy in Maidenhead to offer courses on their CORIO based products as well as sessions for sister company Magenta Research.

Up to 16 people can be accommodated on each training course which use a number of linked CORIOmatrix's as the backbone to feed out sources from Blu-ray players, PCs, cameras and SDI players to each of the four student desks. The room also doubles as an interoperability testing unit for TV One and Magenta kit.

Mark Trevena from TV One said: “We need to be able to either feed a variety of sources to each desk for training on products such as our CORIO 2 scalers but also to be able to reconfigure each row to be used as a CORIOmaster video wall output. To achieve this we have used a mixture of CORIOmatrix, TV One Distribution Amplifiers and a DVI patch panel to give us ultimate flexibility.
“This flexibility has proven its worth as we have recently equipped the room to have HDBaseT outputs to our Panasonic projects and main video wall. We are currently planning to integrate a Magenta Research Voyager router.”
