The Nederlands Blazers Ensemble’s Nieuwjaarsconcert 2022 was lit up with a Martin lighting system, captivating audiences live and on the small screen in the Netherlands.
Lighting design company Light-H-Art used Martin MAC Ultra Performance LED fixtures for the installation, ringing in the new year for in-person attendees and audiences on TV alike.
The MAC Ultra Performance fixtures were chosen due to their ease of set up, zooming iris-effect and high brightness. The fixtures incorporate Martin’s 6000K LED light engine, which can output up to 46,500 lumens in projection over its 50,000+ hour lifespan.
Henk-Jan van Beek, lighting designer, Light-H-Art, commented: “We were impressed with how few fixtures we had to use to get the effects we needed.
“I used a night sky gobo and was absolutely stunned. It literally looked like the walls were painted. Everyone who worked on the production was impressed by the brightness, as well as the fast and precise zoom––it was exactly what we needed.”
