project: syntropy and Vioso demo projection-based attraction at IAAPA Expo Europe
Project: syntropy and Vioso are demonstrating a projection-based attraction ride concept at IAAPA Expo Europe, which runs at ExCeL London, September 22 to 25, 2026.

The exhibit, on booth S2743, combines attraction design, interactive technology and a projection system incorporating a custom calibration solution developed by Vioso specifically for the project.

Project: syntropy led the concept, experience design, projection design and overall implementation, while Vioso has provided automated calibration and image-processing technology.

Rather than adding projection technology to a completed attraction design, the companies said the system was developed collaboratively from the outset, allowing calibration and projection requirements to become part of the overall experience.

Benjamin Fritsch, CEO of Vioso, said: “An experience like this cannot be created by a single technology or a single company. It was only through our close collaboration with project: syntropy, and the complete combination of our individual strengths, that this exceptional concept could become a reality.”

The installation builds on a long-running partnership between the two companies. For attraction projects, project: syntropy takes responsibility for the overall concept and delivery, including projection design and interactive elements, with Vioso acting as the specialist calibration technology partner.

For the IAAPA demonstration, Vioso’s technology is used to automate the calibration and image-processing processes required by the attraction’s projection system.

The companies are positioning the exhibit as an example of an integrated approach to immersive attraction development rather than a fixed system assembled from individual off-the-shelf components.

Visitors can experience the installation during IAAPA Expo Europe’s show floor hours from September 22 to 24 at ExCeL London.
