Northamber partners with Xyte to support managed AV services
Northamber has announced a partnership with Xyte to give UK resellers access to cloud-based device management for AV, UC and IT environments.

The agreement gives Northamber partners access to Xyte Connect+, a unified cloud platform for monitoring, managing and supporting connected devices across rooms, sites and customer environments.

The partnership is aimed at resellers delivering meeting rooms, digital signage, collaboration spaces, interactive displays, AV-over-IP and workplace technology. Northamber said the platform gives partners a way to add remote monitoring, health reporting and managed services to both new projects and existing customer estates.

As AV systems become more network-connected and central to business operations, customers increasingly expect visibility and support in line with IT systems. Xyte is designed to bring multi-brand AV, UC and IT devices into a single operational view, allowing service teams to monitor device health, respond to alerts, manage incidents and reduce the need for site visits.

The platform supports a range of connected AV and UC devices, including products from manufacturers already integrated with Xyte such as WyreStorm and Avocor.

Mark Sumner, head of UC&C and networking at Northamber, said: “Xyte gives partners a clear way to move beyond hardware supply and into managed AV operations. It helps them support more customers, reduce unnecessary site visits and create a stronger services conversation around the technology they already sell.”

Northamber said the partnership adds a cloud management and services layer to its AV, UC&C and networking portfolio. The offering will also be supported by Northamber’s Avail Support services team, which provides training, installation services, pre-configuration, enhanced warranty options and next-business-day replacement services.

Omer Brookstein, CEO and co-founder of Xyte, said: “Together, we can help partners turn connected device management into a repeatable service model that improves uptime for customers and creates new revenue for the channel.”

The partnership is targeted at resellers supporting multi-site businesses, education, public sector, healthcare, enterprise workplaces and managed service customers, where estates may include hundreds or thousands of connected devices.
