Ukraine president uses hologram to call on tech industry to help rebuild the country
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has been able to address four of Europe’s largest tech festivals at once using hologram technology.

Zelensky addressed technology entrepreneurs, investors and corporate leaders at Stockholm’s Brilliant Minds, London’s Founders Forum, Amsterdam’s The Next Web and Paris’ Vivatech, from Ukraine.

“We wanted to enable the President to share this important message via hologram and 3D avatar to exemplify the world-changing innovation the tech community is capable of delivering,” stated Brent Hoberman, Co-Founder and Executive Chair of Founders Forum Group, “and to inspire our network to develop and deploy new technologies that can help rebuild Ukraine.”

The technology was provided by ARHT Media's HoloPresence technology, with British content studio Talesmith, and HEREwe HOLO from The Netherlands also playing a role.

His speech was filmed using holometric capture, images from a 21-camera rig were stitched together to create a 3D model of the president.  The equipment to film more content like this in the future has been donated to Ukraine.
