Turtle AV in Ireland: Videnda named exclusive distribution partner
Turtle AV has appointed Videnda as its exclusive distribution partner for Ireland, expanding the Australian manufacturer’s European distribution network.

Under the agreement, Videnda will provide local inventory, technical support, training and sales assistance for Turtle AV’s Dante, Dante AV-A and AV-over-IP portfolio.

The range includes Chazy 4K Dante AV-A encoders and decoders, Chazy Control Pro with integrated Dante Controller and the Chazy 4K Multiview, alongside Mineola and Phoenix Dante audio bridges and Darwin H.265 AV-over-IP encoders and decoders.

Videnda will also distribute Turtle AV’s USB-C and HDMI extension products, Dante Bluetooth and XLR wallplates, amplifiers and adapters, Downtown Dolby Atmos and DTS to Dante encoder and Dante Domain Bridge.

Eamon Drew, co-founder and co-CEO of Turtle AV, said: “Ireland is a market we have wanted to invest in for some time.”

He continued: “Home to the European headquarters of many of the world’s leading technology companies, Ireland is one of the continent’s most important AV markets. When we looked for a partner, there was one obvious choice. Videnda’s technical expertise, market knowledge, and reputation make them the perfect partner to represent Turtle AV in Ireland.”

The agreement gives Irish systems integrators, consultants and resellers access to Turtle AV products through a locally based distribution partner.

Sean Holohan, founder and managing director of Videnda Distribution, said: “Turtle AV has quickly established itself as one of the industry’s most exciting manufacturers through genuine innovation rather than simply following the market. Their Dante ecosystem, AV over IP platform, and commitment to open integration make them an ideal addition to our portfolio, and we’re excited to introduce Turtle AV to customers throughout Ireland.”

The appointment forms part of Turtle AV’s wider international expansion, with the company stating that its products are now available through distribution partners in more than 50 countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
