New venture from Nigel Steljes is launched
A new company has been launched by the founder of UK distributor Steljes, which went into administration in May. Nigel Steljes is to be the MD of Avocor, which will manufacture and sell his old company's Vividtouch range of interactive flat panels for business and education environments.

Distributed via a dedicated partner network of value-added resellers, the initial product line that the company will manufacture is the Vividtouch range of interactive touch screens, including the VTF series, the world’s first-ever interactive panels that run on the new Windows 10 operating system.

Nigel Steljes said: "Our new company is a collaboration of industry expertise, with a level of market knowledge that has been built on years of experience working with customers across the education and corporate sectors."

Avocor's first move was to sign up as the authorised distributor in Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the Nureva Span systems and Nureva HDL300 audio conferencing systems.

The CEO of  Nureva is Nancy Knowlton, who was one of the founders of Smart Technologies, the Canadian manufacturer of interactive whiteboards, who Steljes worked exclusively with for many years as a distribution partner in the UK and Ireland.
