ROE Visual will release its custom-built, frequency tuneable IC driver at IBC 2026, powered by Deepsky processing.
Developed and designed exclusively for ROE Visual LED panels, the driver aims to deliver colour accuracy for broadcasters, filmmakers, and reference monitor applications.
The driver will initially be available for flat and curved variants of the ROE Ruby RB2.2F, with additional ROE products at lower pixel pitches to be ready in the coming months.
The Sirius IC driver provides native bit depth for precise colour fidelity, HDR grayscale patterns, and zero banding even at micro-luminance levels. Using Deepsky LED processing, the driver eliminates scanlines and operates with a 15,200Hz base refresh rate. The Sirius IC blends three drive modes; including pulse width modulation, pule amplitude modulation, and continuum mode for driving LEDs with ultra-low brightness in mind.
The Deepsky system can adjust the base frequency to align with any camera’s specific frame rate and shutter angle to ensure interoperability with a wider range of camera systems including rolling shutter systems.
ROE Visual will demonstrate the technology at IBC 2026 using an ARRI Alexa 35 Live.
