InfiLED screen takes centre stage at Circuit Paul Ricard
An 81m², 96-panel LED system has been created for the Circuit Paul Ricard in La Castellet, France, a custom-made screen for the circuit to deliver high-octane thrills at the home of French motor racing.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by an architectural LED centrepiece, with the InfiLED transparent LED display stretching across 15 metres of the venue’s main entrance façade.

As a fully bespoke LED system designed and customed by InfiLED, the display is designed to broadcast live race coverage, interviews and sponsor messaging, meeting the technical, aesthetic and structural requirements of the historic racetrack.

InfiLED designed a total of 96 transparent LED panels, with three unique panels fitted precisely across the track’s 32 glass canopy windows to within millimetre tolerances, requiring precise design and engineering to achieve visual uniformity. The complete screen measures 15 m wide by 5.4 m high, with a surface area of 81. Sq. m.

A horizontal pixel pitch of 4mm and a vertical pixel pitch of 8mm is delivered to maximise visibility and clarity for a moving crowd, overcoming challenges to find the right balance between light transmission and screen intensity.

Mathieu Arnould, country sales manager of France, InfiLED, commented: “Circuit Paul Ricard’s new LED screen isn’t just a warm, bold, dynamic welcome – it’s an architectural statement. It’s also a vision that we were honoured to help bring to life.

“For us, no aim is too complex or too wacky. We custom-built every element exclusively for this project, because for over 16 years and with more than 200 patents we can adapt to any space or ambition. If you’ve got a big, impossible plan, we’re all ears.”
