Fohhn welcomes Nestel as Schwarz steps down
German loudspeaker manufacturer Fohhn Audio has announced Richard Nestel will take charge of the company as Heinz Schwarz steps down after 16 years at the helm.

Schwarz has been involved with Fohhn since its foundation in 1993 and has held a number of positions at the manufacturer. In particular, the company credits him with introducing an innovative manufacturing strategy.

When Fohhn converted to a public limited company in 2001, Schwarz became Chairman of the Supervisory Board alongside Winfried Baumbach and Prof. Dr. Jörg Knoblauch. He has acted in an advisory capacity on all major strategic decisions, including the development of a digital strategy and the fundamental system concept that applies to all Fohhn products. Richard Nestel, formerly Fohhn’s tax advisor, will now step into the role.
