Avantis Education has launched EduverseSTEM, designed for students aged 11 to 18, EduverseSTEM combines ClassVR Xcelerate, Avantis Education’s 6DoF headsets, with an extensive content library mapped to recognised curriculum standards including the UK National Curriculum, IB (MYP/DP), NGSS and ACARA.
Delivering over 500 STEM experiences and unlimited creation opportunities, EduverseSTEM also includes modules which support Project-Based Learning. Mapped to a Gold Standard PBL framework and aligned to PBLWorks and Cambridge Global Perspectives, these modules provide full teacher guidance, session plans, curriculum objectives and key vocabulary for every project.
By combining Avantis Education’s own curriculum-aligned VR/AR STEM resources with pedagogically curated content from STEM partners: AttainXR, Delightex Edu, iXRLabs, Filament Games, Proteus Labs, Singer Studios and VictoryXR, EduverseSTEM brings content together in one place, giving schools access to a STEM learning library under a single subscription.
STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) are often taught through traditional ‘chalk and talk’ methods, making it difficult for students to make connections between topics. Schools also face common challenges that include financing laboratories and equipment, considering classroom safety, and maintaining student engagement.
As a VR/AR system that directly overcomes these STEM barriers, from a pedagogical perspective EduverseSTEM also supports disciplinary and interdisciplinary learning, giving teachers flexibility to explore individual subjects as well as combining and connecting concepts across multiple subjects.
Subscriptions are available on three and five year licences, with support across seven languages. Like all ClassVR solutions, EduverseSTEM features real-time classroom monitoring and built-in safeguarding controls, ensuring teachers can deliver lessons with confidence and students remain engaged throughout.
