AV industry selects top technologies as InAVation Awards winners are announced
AV vendors have walked away with accolades voted for by the professional AV industry as the InAVation Awards hits half-time at Amsterdam’s Gashouder venue.

This evening’s lively drinks reception gave way to the seated dinner and prize giving with 12 technology awards given out so far.

Winning technologies were shortlisted by a panel of judges and then put to a public vote. AV professionals could only vote once and had to be an AV integrator, distributor, consultant, rental company or end user. The votes were verified and weighted according to job function: End User (AV, IT or FM) = 10 points; Consultants (Architectural, AV, IT, Workspace/Office fit out) = 8 points; Systems Integrator, Contractor, Rental & Staging = 8 points and Distributor = 5 points.

The winners are listed below, and the evening continues with Project Awards, Consultant of the Year, Distributor of the Year and AVIXA standards yet to be revealed.
