The site also contains a Hydra immersive training facility for senior officers.


i-mobile roles out signage solution

i-mobile Shop, the biggest mobile phone distributor in Thailand, installed a Cayin digital signage system in 28 selected points of distribution. The in-store digital screen network, implemented by DMaSStech (Digital Media and Signage Solution Technology) is remotely managed by the head office and conveys updated advertisements and brand image to branches.

Church says goodbye to ceiling speakers

Since opening its doors in June of 1965, Wichita’s Metropolitan Baptist Church has been a vital part of its community, offering a range of services, classes and other events. In 1983 the church added the Jesse Vardaman Fellowship Hall, a multipurpose venue that has seen near-constant use over the years. But with a very rudimentary 70 volt distributed sound system and budget grade ceiling speakers, the hall has long struggled with intelligibility issues.

Shure in Rio Carnival

Earlier in the year, thousands of dancers in full make-up and bright costumes, along with hundreds of elaborate floats accompanied by musicians and rolling PA trucks blasting samba music marched down Rio’s famed Sambódromo in celebration of this year’s Carnival. Shure microphones were heavily involved in vocalising the passion of the week-long event that marks the beginning of Lent.

Viking Line sets sail with Scala signage

Viking Line, a Finnish operator of ferries and cruise ferries, has partnered with digital signage software provider Scala to implement digital signs onboard its seven vessels. The digital signage features both informational and ad-based programming, and reaches passengers at various points on its ships.
