Crestron’s Olympic distribution

The 2010 Winter Olympics is using Crestron DigitalMedia to record, distribute and display games and events across several stadiums and arenas in full digital HD. All feeds are routed through the Master Command Centre that is equipped with 37 displays.


QSC in church refurb

A Roman Catholic Church built in 1844 has undergone a £3.5-£4 million (€4-€4.6 million) redevelopment that included a new QSC sound system. A pair of white polystyrene QSC AcousticDesign AD-S282H 2-way loudspeakers were yoke-mounted vertically onto the walls either side of the altar.

2012 countdown powered by Adtec

Media players supplied by Pixels are powering a massive LED screen that is counting down the days until the 2012 Olympic Games from the top of London landmark, the BT Tower. The Adtec signEdje HD media players control the 58mx4.8m Martin Professional screen, that encircles the top of the tower.

Barco sponsors Berlinale

The Berlin International Film Festival, Berlinale, partnered with Barco for its 60th anniversary event. The company’s digital cinema projectors were used for various screenings throughout the festival’s ten days.

Aalborg goes for 3 Alcons systems

The Aalborg Congress and Culture Centre (AKKC) has installed Alcons systems as part of a major technical refit. Three Alcons systems were supplied by the company’s Danish distributor, Ascon Trading.

Services can be seen with dnp

UCKG Park Station Cathedral in Johannesburg is now enjoying services against the backdrop of six dnp Supernova screens. The installation is designed to allow 7,000 members a clear view of proceedings and recently, 12,000 people were able to follow the building’s inauguration ceremony.
