Texas based Santikos Theatres has implemented digital upgrade at five of its multiplexes, opting for Barco cinema projection. The 62-screen conversion incorporated DP-1200, DP-1500, DP-2000 and DP-3000 projectors.

Touching Oslo’s history

The Coastal Society in Norway is presenting information about Oslo’s history with a touch screen display that uses Visual Planet’s ViP Interactive Foil. The attraction is at Aker Brygge, a harbour in the centre of Oslo, and utilises four 46â€ NEC LCD thin bezel monitors.

Lighthouse makes a point

Nokia utilised a large format Lighthouse LED screen to promote its Ovi maps service in London. The 14 x 4 panel screen was suspended 35m in the air and displayed text messages sent from passers by.

The AV Center handled the audiovisual system for a massive meeting of Mayors, from leading cities across the globe, held outside the COP15 climate summit. The City Hall in Copenhagen had to host five different podiums where five discussions were held at the same time.
