Sharp Information Systems Europe has launched its first interactive flat panel display (IFPD) to offer wireless connectivity, the BIG PAD PN-70TW3.
The 70-in tablet allows presenters to display information without attaching to a laptop, mobile or tablet. It is the first IFPD to provide a DICOM ‘emulation mode’ for healthcare environments reviewing X-rays as a group.
The PN-70TW3 features MirrorOp for Sharp collaboration, allowing as many as ten users to connect simultaneously to the tablet via their device. It also incorporates Sharp’s infrared (IR) touch technology, with 10-point multi touch, and Direct Drawing controller allowing users to start drawing as soon as the Big Pad is turned on.
The PN-70TW3 is available in Europe now, with a 60-in version (PN-60TW3) to follow in April 2016.
