Sharp introduces two touchscreen LCD monitors

Sharp has launched two touchscreen LCD monitors in the shape of the 80-in PN-80TC3 and the 55-in PN-V551 ultra-slim bezel professional monitor.

The PN-80TC3 employs Sharp capacitive touch technology for providing touch capabilities. Up to three units of the display can be connected to display sequential pages that can be navigated by swiping side to side.

It also supports installation of a web camera in a total of seven positions, giving users the flexibility to find the optimal setup to match your room layout and seating arrangements. Bundled with two wireless touch pens, the PN-80TC3 recognises up to 10 touch points and allows up to four people to write at the same time with a finger or touch pen.

The PN-V551 features Sharp Uniform Colour Calibration Technology (UCCT) and delivers visuals in full HD 1920 by 1080 resolution. The display has a brightness of 700 cd/m2 and four PN-V551 monitors set up in a 2 x 2 configuration to handle 4K. In multi-monitor configurations, the products Mirror Bezel Frames help minimize visible lines.

The PN-V551 monitor is targetted for retail, transport hubs, command and control, corporate lobbies/meeting rooms and for other demanding professional applications that require 24/7 round-the-clock operation.
