The active voice amplifier is featured, designed to reduce background noise by automatically recognising interruptions and adjusting voice clarity.

Objecting tracking sound+ (OTS+) can create a 3D sound effect by combining multiple speakers on the top, side and bottom of the TV with an AI algorithm, matching audio with on-screen action.

Samsung’s Q-Symphony, a multi-speaker implementation was demonstrated, which allows QLED TVs to keep the top and side speakers active when attaching a Samsung Q series soundbar.

A range of soundbars, the Q series, was shown, including the Q800T, Q70T and Q60T which use Samsung’s acoustic beam technology and integrated object-based audio via Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Voice assistant options including Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Bixby will also be offered.

New connectivity features were demonstrated including Multi-View which allows users to extend a mobile device to a bigger screen, allowing users to choose between 14 different layout options for two windows.

Tap view allows users to connect smartphones to a TV, with users able to mirror a phone screen to the TV by touching the two devices together.

The Sero lifestyle TV was also demonstrated, capable of rotating between horizontal and vertical orientations similarly to a smartphone.

The Serif was also announced, available in 43-in, 49-in and 55-in models in both cloud white and cotton blue colour options.

In addition, Samsung’s design-first TV, The Serif, was announced, with 43, 49 and 55-inch models available in two new colours, Cloud White and Cotton Blue.
