RCF launches E MAX series of multi-purpose loudspeakers

RCF Audio has launched the passive two-way RCF E MAX series, designed as a multi-purpose speaker for high powered applications for bars, party rooms, clubs.

The series comprises two models: E MAX 3110 and E MAX 3112 - both aimed at delivering foreground sound throughout, especially in nearfield or short-throw applications.

The RCF E Max series and its components are designed inside RCF’s laboratories. Equipped with a 10-in woofer and 1-in compression driver, E MAX 3110 delivers a maximum SPL of 128dB over a frequency range of 60 Hz – 20 kHz, with a total handling power of 300 W RMS. The E MAX 3112 boasts a 12-in woofer and 1-in compression driver, and delivers a maximum SPL of 129 dB over a frequency range of 55 Hz – 20 kHz, with a total power handling of 350 W RMS. Both have a rotatable horn with 90° x 70° dispersion pattern. The LICC crossover design includes electronic protection on the high-frequency device.

The speaker cabinets are built in birch plywood coated with black textured epoxy. A powder-coated metal grille protects the front, and an acoustically transparent sound foam backing on the inside of the grille ensures protection from dust and humidity.

The base of each speaker includes a steel pole socket for mounting on a stand or a subwoofer pole. Included are rigging points to fly the speakers for maximum architectural freedom on any installation. Threaded inserts are provided for optional mounting hardware in installed sound applications.
