TiMax has opened its TiMax Spatial Studio, a new London HQ, R&D hub, and training facility located at London’s Tileyard.
The new space saw customers, media, and members of the TiMax community welcomed with a TiMax listening experience.
The event began with a welcome from TiMax founders, Robin Whittaker and Dave Haydon, detailing the history of the company and its role within the Focusrite Group, before handing over to Dan Higgott, product and software manager, Innovate Audio and Rik Kirby, reflecting on a year of software rollouts, feature-set evolution and brand development before sharing a vision for the future of the company and its community, highlighting TiMax’s collaboration with Sonosphere to promote and expand opportunities for the company.
Kirby commented: “The launch brought together a wonderful cross-section of the TiMax community, who shared the joy we all feel at this milestone. Our training schedule is already fully booked, but the space will always be open to sound designers who want to prepare in a state-of-the-art 26.4.6 TiMax mixing studio with eight-sensor tracking system.”
