RCF has added the LF18X401 to its range of 18†woofers, claiming the new design provides a high power ferrite magnet, ventilation and low power consumption.
The materials used in the ferrite magnet create a force factor close to a typical neodymium circuit.
It has linear frequency response characteristics, high power handling and low power compression. It features a fibre loaded cone assembly and a high excursion triple roll, constant geometry surround.
The product features a 4” fibreglass inside-outside copper voice coil, 2,400 Watt continuous programme power handling, 98 dB sensitivity, 30 Hz – 1kHz Frequency range, dual-forced air ventilation and 15mm top plate for minimum power compression, dual spider design with silicon based dampening control and triple-roll surround and corrugated straight cone geometry.
LF18X401 was designed for touring and critical listening applications.
