PureLink debuts PureInstall micro coax USB-C cable range

PureLink has debuted its PureInstall MicroX4 range, expanding its USB-C range with a micro coax offering designed for passive transmission across extended distances.

Offering up to five metres of reliable signal transmission for data, video, audio and power, the MicroX4 range combines USB4 Gen2x3 bandwidth, micro coax cable construction, triple shielding, mechanical durability and locking features.

The range includes a straight and 90 degrees angled (up/down and left/right) USB-C male-to-male cables, as well as USB-C male-to-female extensions and straight and 90 degrees angled (up/down and left/right) USB-C Portsavers, with length options from 0.5 metres up to five metres.

MicroX4 cables use an advanced micro-coaxial design with silver-plated conductors and triple shielding, reducing electromagnetic interference and signal attenuation, while providing mechanical flexibility and bend resistance.

The cables deliver up to 20Gbs and support 8K video via DisplayPort Alt-Mode, as well as data transmission and extended power range charging of up to 240W (48V/5A).

The series includes two proprietary locking systems, featuring a Secure-Lock-System (SLS), featuring integrated retention for semi-permanent use and 25N holding force and a Tru-Lock-System (TLS), an optional removable screw-lock with up to 80N retention, available in multiple colours for easy identification on-site.

All variants also offer silver-plated copper conductors for minimal resistance.
