Powersoft expands OEM audio technology portfolio with MM-Force and Spixel
Powersoft has unveiled two new OEM technologies, MM-Force and Spixel, as it continues to expand beyond amplification into transducer and software-led audio development.

The products will make their debut at InfoComm 2026 on Powersoft’s booth, N6653, in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Both technologies are available exclusively through OEM channels.

MM-Force is a patented balanced moving magnet low-frequency driver designed to deliver subwoofer performance from an ultra-low-profile format. Available in 8in and 10in versions, it has a depth of under 80mm and is intended for applications where conventional subwoofer integration would be difficult because of space or weight limitations.

The driver uses a dual-coil configuration and a square carbon fibre reinforced polymer piston to maximise radiating area within its footprint. Its moving parts are designed to offset one another dynamically, reducing mechanical vibration at transducer level and allowing compact enclosures to operate without additional structural reinforcement or damping.

Powersoft is positioning MM-Force for fixed installation, portable touring and high-end automotive applications where shallow form factors and low-frequency output are both required.

Spixel is a 2.5in high-efficiency full-range driver that extends Powersoft’s high motor strength approach into a compact format. The driver reaches down to 100Hz, allowing direct coupling with subwoofers at a single low crossover point and simplifying system design for loudspeaker manufacturers.

Spixel also integrates Powersoft’s AnyMATE technology, providing speaker identification, real-time monitoring and visual diagnostics through an LED indicator and translucent dustcap. Powersoft said this allows manufacturers to add system intelligence and field serviceability without increasing system complexity.

Luca Giorgi, sales and business development director at Powersoft, said the launch extends the company’s offer “well beyond the amplifier rack,” addressing engineering challenges around shallow low-frequency performance and transducer-level monitoring.
