MMD has launched a 65†slim LCD display under the Philips brand. The BDL6551V has an ultra slim bezel and is 3.1cm thick.
The slim bezel ensures the product is suited to tiled matrix video wall solutions. It incorporates the company’s Smart Insert provision at the back of the display, which allows a small form factor (SFF) PC or media device to be inserted discreetly. It is also designed for continuous operation.
SmartPower is claimed to offer savings on energy as it controls the backlight intensity to reduce the power consumption by up to 50 per cent.
