Audio manufacturer Pan Acoustics has expanded its portfolio with P SW-112, a multifunctional subwoofer.
The subwoofer is made of birch plywood, and offers up to 3600W (peak) power and 131 dB (peak) output levels.
Ergonomic handles as well as a M20 pole mount for attaching a distance rod means the subwoofer is suitable for installations and also mobile events.
Depending on the requirements, the subwoofer is available in one passive and three active versions: The passive version of the P SW-112 is equipped with two robust NL4 connectors. Processing presets for power amplifiers of most common manufacturers are available and allow sound optimisation, regardless of the selection of the power amplifier brand.
The active variant with the model name P SW-112 | SP offers a total of three input options from analog and AES/EBU using the Pan Net interface or via redundant Dante networks. Due to the headroom of the integrated amplifier, there is the option to connect an additional passive subwoofer via NL4 connection.
The free system software connects to the subwoofer via a Pan Net interface with USB or directly via Dante network and allows the control of the internal DSP. All active components are ideally matched with the speaker and additionally integrate a 5-band parametric equalizer, gain and delay (up to 370 ms).
The P SW-112 is available in black (RAL 9005) and white (RAL 9010) with structured texture, and can be supplied in any colour upon customer request.
