Navori will debut its IPR (Insane Performance Rendering) software platform that accelerates performance rendering for digital signage at the ISE2019 show in February.
IPR makes it possible to drive 8K video walls or four clusters of 4K digital signage displays from a single media player. Navori will demonstrate the software on stand 8-E195 in the RAI Amsterdam from February 5 to 8, 2019.
The performance rendering capabilities are based on Navori’s 64-bit player software and optimised PC hardware. IPR can power a full 8K video wall, or up to 16 full HD displays, from a single device. One IPR license for Navori’s QL2 content management system software covers either scenario.
IPR uses 20% of the CPU when displaying 8K content and can frame-accurately synchronise with any content type, including HTML5 and tickers, since the entire workflow is centralised on one workstation. The product is suited to retail businesses and restaurants.
The software will be interoperable with new rules-based contextual content triggering capabilities within QL2, also to be introduced at ISE. These capabilities are designed to offer more flexibility in dynamic content delivery when scheduling.
Navori QL2’s new intelligent scheduling and triggering capabilities allow, for example, retailers to base what’s playing on specific screens in stores on inventory levels or deliveries. That means that pre-set “rules” can trigger one-time promotions from linked management systems to announce that new stock has arrived from the distribution centre. Similarly, promotions can be dynamically removed from digital signage playlists if inventory levels run low, and hit a pre-set threshold that triggers the spot to be expired.
