Mitsubishi introduces new wireless projector

Mitsubishi Electric’s Visual Information Systems division has introduced the new XD530E, an XGA resolution, wireless projector that utilises the latest DLP technology. The XD530E has been introduced with wireless connectivity to ensure quick and easy set up for presenters on the move, perfect for teachers moving from room to room.

The new XD530E strengthens Mitsubishi’s XD500 series, boasting a brightness of 3000 ANSI lumens, up to 3000 hours of lamp life and a 2000:1 contrast ratio.

Designed as a portable, cost effective projector that is easy to set up and use the XD530E benefits from enhanced security features such as a password lock and reinforced anchor bars as well as a top-access lamp cover for easy lamp replacement, even when ceiling mounted. The instant shutdown feature allows users to quickly power down the unit after a presentation without causing damage to the projector or lamp, in addition to a filter free design that helps reduce the risk of dirt or dust particles entering the projector.

The colour wall support function enables users to choose from a variety of surface colours (beige, blue, green, pink, blackboard or the new whiteboard setting) enabling the projector to automatically make adjustments to its output settings to create the best images in accordance to the chosen background.

To further enhance the colour projected, Mitsubishi Electric has developed a 6-segment colour wheel (R,G,B,W,Y,C) to display a wider colour spectrum. Instead of the usual red, green, blue and white, additional colours yellow and cyan have been added to reinforce the colour range, designed to suit an array of applications.
