NEC Display Solutions has announced its new media player a robust solution for public displays, which can output video content up to full HD resolution.
The unit also ships with a software component allowing users to easily create their own content consisting of stills, video and a ticker. It is available in two versions – an external signage player supporting all forms of displays, including projectors and DVI input desktop screens – and an internal device compatible with NEC monitors featuring an option slot. A DVI output on the internal device supports a second monitor simultaneously.
Created content is fed to the device in one of two ways – via USB interface or over a network connection.
