​Matrox has debuted its QuadHead2Go multi-monitor controller series, capable of driving four displays from one signal.
The controller appliances and PCI Express cards allow for videowall scalability, with the QuadHead2Go controllers able to capture a single 4Kp60 video signal for displaya cross up to four full HD 1920x1200 screens.
The input content can come from a variety of sources, including professional graphics cards and integrated GPUs, digital signage players and laptops.
Displays can be arranged in a 2x2, 2x1, 3x1, 4x1, 1x2, 1x3 or 1x4 setup, with multiple QuadHead2Go units able to be used together to build large videowalls under a variety of operating systems including Microsoft Windows 10 and Linux.
On-device buttons enable users to cycle and access pre-saved images to set up display positions and fine-tune bezel displaced pixels.
Matrox QuadHead2Go integrates with Matrox PowerWall management software that allows users to work in offline mode to customise configurations and control the display outputs independently before establishing an active connection to the QuadHead2Go unit.
