Magenta Research has introduced the HD-One DX500 and HD-One LX500 HDMI extenders, which deliver HDMI signals up to 152 metres over a single Cat6.
The DX5600 supports 1920x1200 and 1080p HDMI signals plus embedded audio, whilst the LX500 adds support for two-way RS-232 and IR control signals. Both units come as a kit with a Tx / Rx pair and power supplies. The LX500 kit also includes a pair of IR dongles.
The HD-One products are engineered to use less power, dissipate less heat and offer better emission and susceptibility performance than HD-BaseT products.
