Tehran-based Shidco has been appointed by Italian amplifier manufacturer Powersoft to handle their distribution in Iran.
Shidco was introduced to Powersoft by long-term supplier, FBT, and already have a number of prominent sound and lighting brands in their portfolio.
Amir Fani Saberi, sales director and technical manager, Shidco said: "We were already familiar with both Powersoft and its technology, from working with their customers. As a powerful trading company, we required a leading brand amplifier to cover the full range of professional audio applications and meet all customer requirements."
Believing that each of the M, K and X Series products would initially unlock their core markets, he added, "These products will meet the requirements of the market in all aspects and we have devised different marketing plans for each sector."
Shidco has already introduced the brand to the local market, having already presented a seminar to prospective customers incorporating technical aspects, various classes of amplifier (in particular Class D), an introduction to Powersoft, the company and finally a listening test.
