Lightware debuts DisplayPort compatible matrix switchers
Lightware has unveiled new models in its MX2 series of DisplayPort compatible, standalone matrix switchers which support uncompressed signal extension capability with a maximum resolution of 4K UHD@60Hz on RGB 4:4:4 colour space at 10-bit colour depth, being compliant with HDCP 1.4 and 2.2.

Support for HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision standards is also included. 

The new MX2 variants include signal management and conversion features from DisplayPort to HDMI alongside a restart link training feature, power redundancy via Neutrik PowerCON connectors, audio embedding/de-embedding and EDID management. 

The MX2 variants with DisplayPort I/O connectivity include 48x48, 24x24 and 8x8 crosspoint layout on a standalone matrix switcher, while the variant with mixed HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 connectors feature a selection of HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 connectors in a symmetrical I/O layout.
