Leyard Europe has introduced a line of 5K 21:9 LCD displays designed to deliver panoramic viewing and enhance productivity.
The Planar 21by9 Series presents a commercial-grade 24x7 display with 81, 94 and 105-in sizes in 5120x2160 resolution and running native at 120Hz refresh. The quantum dot Mini-LED backlight is coupled with dual-brightness enhancement technology, driving a colour gamut reaching 115% DCI-P3 colour space, 1,000,000:1 HDR dynamic contrast and peak brightness of up to 2,500 nits.
The product line has advanced processing capabilities and up to 2,560 local dimming zones driven by Planar’s proprietary algorithm, achieving VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification for the highest quality commercial LCD display ever.
The product is available to order in Europe from Q3 via Leyard Europe.
The series is sized for popular unified communications and video collaboration platforms, enabling enterprise Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) management, and is suitable for lobbies, retail and especially dramatic, private cinema.
Planar 21by9 Series comes in precision metal-mesh capacitive touch and non-touch versions. Users can manoeuvre floating picture-in-picture in multiple input layouts.
