JBL Professional has introduced its PRX One portable PA system and Pro Connect universal control app, featuring an acoustically optimised driver array, digital mixer and pro DSP.
The PRX One provides 130 dB of full bandwidth SPL via a 12-tweeter column array, including JBL’S A.I.M (array inumbration mechanics) acoustic design. A 12-in bass-reflex woofer is included, as well as a built-in 2,000-watt Class D amplifier.
The PA system features a full-colour LCD screen with access to all functions, as well as a setup saver which saves ‘snapshots’ for recall of presets. The system features eight customisable presets, with built-in effects including reverb, eight-band EQ, delay, compression, limiting, ducking, echo, sub synth and dbx DriveRack Inside technology.
The PRX One works with JBL’s new Pro Connect app, allowing access of the PA system’s via Android and iOS devices. The app’s interface allows users to adjust and control each feature on multiple speakers, such as adjusting volume levels and EQ, activating Lexicon reverb and effects.
