Jabra introduces PanaCast U30 video bar for small meeting rooms
Jabra has unveiled its PanaCast U30 USB video bar, designed for BYOD collaboration in small meeting spaces and huddle rooms for up to six people.

The video bar is designed to allow users to walk into a room, connect their own device with a USB-C cable and start a meeting using their preferred platform, such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

The room display shows built-in wallpapers before a user connects, with clear on-screen instructions, guiding users so that meetings can begin without delay and reducing support requests. In an upcoming release, customers will be able to create and upload their own custom wallpaper to the system’s home screen through Jabra Plus.

Video performance is optimised for small spaces via a 120 degrees field of view to frame participants clearly around a table in compact room layouts, including features such as intelligent zoom, virtual director, and dynamic composition automatically following the conversation in the room and adjusting the view as participants speak.

A built-in speaker and six microphones are included, delivering full-duplex Jabra audio for natural and fluid conversations.

Multiple mounting options are available, including wall, VESA and table stand, allowing the system to adapt to different room layouts and requirements.

Integrated cable routing and on-device guidance help are also available to ensure repeatable setups across rooms.

For monitoring and management, Jabra Plus allows IT teams to monitor device health, deploy updates, and manage multiple rooms from one interface. The PanaCast U30 can also be managed over the network or directly via USB, while for settings that require offline control, firmware updates can also be performed locally, supporting security-conscious organisations without adding operational complexity.
