InFocus expands with acquisitions of Avistar and Jupiter Systems

InFocus introduced Canvas Touch and ConX at ISE following the recent acquisitions of video conferencing software Avistar and display wall processor Jupiter Systems.

InFocus has extended its product line to include scalable HD video conferencing and data visualisation systems ConX Wall and ConX Exec. The multi-endpoint video conferencing and content sharing systems combine hardware, software, and cloud services.

Both systems feature a video conferencing multipoint control unit (MCU) server allowing them to configure and change each input image to any number of displays.

ConX Video Meeting allows video collaboration with users across many devices, with users able to connect via a ConX Phone, Mondopad, PC, smartphone, tablet, and 3rd party SIP-compliant and H.323 systems.

65-in endpoint touch display Canvas Touch combines InFocus capacitive-touch 4K display with Jupiter Canvas CRS-4K to allow users to collaborate with remote colleagues running Canvas on other devices. The software enables real-time sharing of live video, data, applications, web pages and whiteboards.

Canvas Touch displays up to six simultaneous sources, including H.264 streams, VNC viewer windows, web windows and SimpleShare windows. Microsoft Skype for Business is additionally supported.
