IHSE has unveiled an updated version of the Draco ultra DisplayPort extender offering colour depth of 30 bit (Deep Colour), increased from 24 bit (True Colour).
The KVM product provides 4K/UHD resolution at 60 Hz frame rate with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. With 30 bit (10 bits per colour), images offer high contrast and quality.
Video can also be transmitted over a single fibre optic cable at distances up to 10 km. The extender offers redundant interconnection options for applications such as broadcast.
IHSE will showcase its Draco ultra DisplayPort extender via an eyevis eyeLCD 5000 QHD monitor at IBC at stand 7.B30. The show takes place from September 9 to 13, 2016 at the RAI in Amsterdam.
