Harman Pro has announced the release of FLUX:: SPAT Revolution 26.04 and MiRA 26.04, two software updates designed to expand immersive audio production, streamline workflows and improve system analysis and tuning.
The releases mark the first major SPAT Revolution upgrade in two years and introduces new tools for fixed installations, live production and content creation environments.
FLUX:: SPAT Revolution 26.04 introduces the new Multi Media Recording and Playback feature, allowing users to capture, store and reproduce immersive sessions directly within the software. The built-in media player enables timeline-based playback without the need for external hardware, allowing sessions to be stored and played back from multiple timelines, while still enabling live object mixing in parallel. This gives live engineers a workflow to reliably reuse preproduced immersive content while retaining full creative control over real-time elements during a performance.
The release also introduces a new Cue Sequencer, expanding SPAT Revolution’s show-control capabilities by allowing users to define programmable events that are triggered by specific internal or external conditions. This enables automated, condition-based system responses and more tightly integrated immersive workflows for live productions and complex installations. SPAT Revolution 26.04 introduces a Morphed Protection Zone that adapts protection zone geometry to real-world venue layouts rather than enforcing a fixed circular model, delivering more consistent level behavior and smoother spatial transitions for moving sources.
Enhanced immersive format support includes Audio Definition Model (ADM) import, enabling users to load amongst others Dolby Atmos ADM-WAV files directly from digital audio workstations and render them into any space without rebuilding automation or exporting stems. This capability supports workflows in dynamic fixed installations, like museums, exhibitions, live events and other immersive environments while preserving the original creative intent.
The new release comes with a significantly enhanced SPAT Revolution plug-in, providing full control of all spatialization parameters directly from the all leading DAWs including Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Nuendo, Logic Pro, and Reaper. For the first time, integrated FLUX:: processing—covering source, room, and output channel processing—is embedded directly within the SPAT Revolution audio chain, representing the first phase of bringing over 25 years of FLUX:: expertise into a unified, immersive production workflow.
FLUX:: MiRA 26.04 expands real-time audio analysis capabilities with new AI-powered Auto EQ functionality, designed to simplify and accelerate system tuning for users of all experience levels. Users can define target curves and automatically generate EQ settings using a unique AI-based algorithm, improving consistency and reducing manual intervention across installations. Native support for Harman with OF target curves ensures alignment with established tuning standards and quality of performance.
MiRA 26.04 also introduces support for an unlimited number of simultaneous input streams, with up to 24 channels per stream, enabling parallel analysis of complex systems in real time. Improved measurement workflows for MiRA Live and Ultimate license holders allow users to create multiple computed curves per session, enables automated measurement sequences for streamlined sequential captures, and perform RTA-based measurements without a reference signal.
The updated loudness metering scope adds Peak-to-Loudness Ratio (PLR) and Peak-to-Short-Term Loudness Ratio (PSR) metrics, providing additional insight into dynamic behavior. Other enhancements include an updated I/O configuration page, improved visual clarity with new auto-color system for captures, and daylight mode for improved visibility in bright environments.
