Guntermann & Drunck has announced a shakeup of its key leadership roles, appointing Thorsten Lipp as CEO, Uwe Milde as CTO and Nils Strauch as CFO.
Lipp takes the reigns as CEO following the handover from Roland Ollek, who led the company for almost 15 years, building the company and creating the basis for further growth with modern corporate structures and a technology partnership with Tritec Electronic in 2021.
Lipp previously held the position of managing director Europe for Leyard Europe, and will now focus on strengthening G&D’s position and developing new business opportunities. Lipp will also oversee the company’s sales and market side operations, with finance and controlling remaining the responsibility of Nils Strauch.
Uwe Milde will lead all product and development side operations, exploiting his extensive knowledge and close ties to the company which spans more than two decades.
A new team will also be formed to align the company for further growth.
Lipp commented: "I am looking forward to joining the management team and developing G&D further, marketing the company's high-end solutions even more effectively and continue the internationalisation.
"Roland Ollek leaves behind a solid foundation for future success that we can build on together with new ideas and perspectives."
