Extron has unveiled its XPA ultra amplifiers with switchable bridging, the XPA U 1004 SB and XPA U 2002 SB, both energy star qualified audio power amplifiers which feature flexible channel pairs that can drive eight ohm, four ohm, 70 volt or 100 volt loads.
The individually bridgeable channel pairs of the XPA U 1004 SB can deliver two 100 watt channels in low impedance systems or one 200 watt channel into low o rhigh impedance system, with the XPA U 2002 SB delivering 200 watts and 400 watts.
A rotary switch is included on the rear panel of the amplifier to select desired output modes. Both models feature a Class D amplifier design with defeatable auto standby and CDRS-Class D ripple suppression.
Each model also supports remote volume and mute control using an Extron VCM, VC or MediaLink controllers.
