Brompton Technology’s Dynamic Calibration technology will receive its European debut at the show in addition to launching its latest LED processor, the Tessera S8.
Originally unveiled at LDI 2019 in Las Vegas, USA, Dynamic Calibration is the enabling technology for Brompton HDR, allowing for brighter whites, higher contrast ratios and more saturated colours.
New features including PureTone and ThermaCal will be shown, with the technology being enabled after new LED panels are measured with Brompton’s Hydra measurement system.
Existing panels can also integrate Dynamic Calibration by using a Brompton Tessera R2 card.
The Tessera S8 LED processor supports all Brompton features including HDR, Dynamic Calibration, Ultra Low Latency and High Frame Rates.
Full 4K60 input support is included, with eight 1G outputs that are capable of 525K pixels at 60Hz, eight bits per colour.
On-Screen Colour Adjustment (OSCA) is included for colour mismatch corrects, as well as Dark Magic for dark-area detailing and ChromaTune for video colour replacement.
ISE 2020 will run from 11 February-14 February 2020 at the RAI Amsterdam, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
