Barco has expanded its HDF projector range with a 3-chip DLP, 30,000-lumen model suited to events and large venues.
The HDF-W30 FLEX features WUXGA resolution, as well as several lenses, and a wide lens shift range.
Barco is also releasing a laser phosphor retrofit module for owners of a Barco HDF-W30 FLEX projector interested in replacing its lamp house with laser technology.
The projector provides 30,000 hours of operating time. It is powered by 3-chip DLP technology and a high-contrast optical engine, with ImagePRO technology providing scaling capabilities.
Users can adjust the projector’s light output from 10,000 to 30,000 lumens dependent on requirements. Its cooling unit can be positioned up to eight meters away from the projector, for attachment to a wall or mounting.
The HDF-W30LP FLEX is taking orders before shipping in summer 2016.
