The Comet-C Pro HB from Aura Vision was voted a 2026 Inavation Awards Technology winner for achieving what many fine-pitch LED displays struggle to balance: extreme brightness with genuine efficiency.
An evolution of the Comet-C series, the Pro HB doubles maximum brightness to 2,000 nits while maintaining virtually the same peak power consumption of 375 W/m². In typical control room operation at 350–550 nits, power usage drops to roughly a third of maximum consumption, delivering measurable reductions in running costs and carbon impact.
Built on Flip Chip COB Micro LED technology, it combines HDR support, 22-bit greyscale, 7680 Hz refresh rate and contrast ratios up to 300,000:1 for precise, stable image reproduction. Front IP65 protection, 4H scratch resistance, optional power and signal redundancy, and full front serviceability with hot-swappable modules make it suited to 24/7 mission-critical environments.
With fine pixel pitches down to 0.7mm and brightness headroom for high-ambient spaces, the Comet-C Pro HB extends fine-pitch LED into brighter, more demanding applications without sacrificing sustainability.
