A 2x8m curved INFiLED LED wall was installed in one of Kanal 75's Stockholm production studios, taking the space from empty to broadcast-ready in just two days.
Kanal 75 delivers more than 14 hours of livesports content to Swedish and international audiences every day of the year. After the company made the decision to upgrade one of their Stockholm productionstudios, the brief was to replace an ageing rental LED screen with a permanent installation capable of supporting their daily broadcast workload and ambitions forcontent experimentation.
The studio's existing rental 2x6m LED screen was no longer meeting the standard Kanal 75 needed, and INFiLED's DBmk2 Series provided the answer.
Christian Bruns, studio manager at Kanal 75, led the search for areplacement that could handle the demands of a high-volume live broadcast environment while giving the creative team the freedom to develop new formats, including live-on-tape production and experimental visual backgrounds.
The new installation is a 2x8m curved LED wall, combining flat and 10° curved DBmk2 Series panels to produce a gradual 90° arc at one end of the screen.
Paired with a Novastar MX40 Pro LED processor, the design gives the studio a natural depth and an immersive look on camera, while offering greater flexibility in camera positioning across different programme formats.
