Atlona has updated its Omega series with the AT-OME-MS42-KIT 4x2 matrix switcher and also released a new networked AV encoder and a display controller.
The AT-OME-MS42-KIT also features HDBaseT and HDMI outputs with selectable AV switching modes, USB 2.0 interfacing and extension up to 100 metres as well as 4K/UHD capability at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling on local ports (HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C) with selectable 4K to 1080P downscaling.
Atlona also launched the OmniStream 111 WP (AT-OMNI-111-WP), a single channel networked AV encoder for HDMI 2.0 sources up to 4K at 60 Hz and HDR, featuring embedded audio and a US two-gang, Decora style wallplate form factor.
The encoder also includes interchangeable black and white wallplates and faceplates alongside support for UHD formats and power over Ethernet
The AT-DISP-CTRL display controller was also released, designed for small meeting spaces and huddle rooms.
The DISP-CTROL is capable of detecting connection of a source device with an active signal, automatically sending a control command to power up a display.
When the device is disconnected, the DISP-CTRL can be configured to provide pre-stored or user programmed display control commands through TCP/IP, RS-232, IR or CEC.
The display controller also features 4K/UHD capability at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling plus support for HDR formats and local or power over Ethernet powering.
The DISP-CTRL also features dual Ethernet ports and an integrated network switch and display driver selection from the Velocity Control system database.
