Altia Systems debuts next PanaCast model at ISE

Altia Systems will debut its PanaCast 3 panoramic camera to the European commercial market at ISE 2019.

The product builds on the features of PanaCast 2, a 180-degree panoramic-4K video camera system, with ~40 Megapixels capacity. It will be shown on stand 13-B150 at the Amsterdam RAI.

PanaCast 3 integrates three 13-megapixel cameras and stereo microphones. The camera mounts on top of digital displays or on a wall with available mounting hardware. It has a USB-C connection and is compatible with many leading collaboration software providers, including Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Slack, Google Hangouts, GoToMeeting and join.me.

The three cameras work together as one via the PanaCast Vision Processor to capture the entire room on video. It has lossless zoom up to 6x and real-time video stitching 46cm from the camera.

PanaCast 3 comes with Intelligent Zoom, which adjusts the field of view to include everyone in the conversation, and PanaCast API, which enables developers and partners to query the system for real-time information, as standard. PanaCast Vivid, which maximizes video performance from rooms with widely varying light conditions, will also be delivered at no additional cost for PanaCast 3 customers in an upcoming release. Intelligent Zoom, PanaCast Vivid and PanaCast API are part of PanaCast’s Intelligent Vision 2.0 suite of edge AI software products for the PanaCast line of camera systems.
