Cyviz has delivered a flexible collaboration hub for Swiss International Air Lines at the airline’s headquarters in Zurich-Kloten, Switzerland.
The space has been designed to support hybrid meetings, workshops, training sessions, quarterly briefings, town halls and internal events, reflecting the growing role of collaboration spaces as enterprise workplace infrastructure.
The collaboration hub can operate across separate and combined room configurations, allowing SWISS to adapt the environment for different meeting and event formats.
According to Cyviz, the project was shaped by three priorities: flexibility, simplicity and reliability. The aim was to create a technically advanced space that users could operate without specialist support, allowing them to walk into the room, start a meeting and use the system with minimal friction.
Stefano Buonaiuto, head of IT operations at Swiss, described the hub as “a signature room” for the airline, adding that while the space is technically complex, “for users it feels simple”.
Cyviz said the project reflects a broader shift in enterprise collaboration, with high-visibility spaces increasingly being used for decision-making, training, internal communication and culture-building across distributed teams.
John v. Laerhoven, sales director at Cyviz, said the challenge for large organisations is not simply adding more technology, but making complex environments “easy to use, reliable to operate and flexible enough” to support the way teams meet and work.
The Swiss collaboration hub has also been positioned next to a social hospitality area, supporting both formal and informal interaction before and after meetings.
Cyviz said the deployment aligns with its wider focus on creating more predictable and resilient technology environments across collaboration, AV and connected workplace systems.
