The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived: the finalists for the Inavation Awards Project categories are out, and they are nothing short of spectacular.
Year after year, these categories shine as the heart of the Inavation Awards, and it’s clear why integrators and end users alike hold them in such high regard. These awards are unique in the industry, celebrating not just snippets of brilliance but the entire scope of project work. That’s a big deal, it means only the best, most comprehensive projects make the cut, and it's this commitment to quality that has solidified their prestige over the years.
The effort that goes into these entries is staggering, and this year is no exception. We’ve been blown away by what’s landed on our desks. From mammoth projects for global institutions to collaborations with world-famous artists, these finalists reflect creativity, technological prowess, and an ability to deliver meaningful results. Some have even set new records. Whether it’s clever tech application or groundbreaking creativity, every single project is a testament to the talent in this industry.
The diversity this year is also remarkable; entries span 23 countries, showcasing a truly global field of excellence. One standout trend is the increasing number of submissions from end-users. This highlights a deeper engagement with technology across sectors and emphasises the enduring value of partnerships between these organisations and the integrators who make it all possible.
Winning or even being shortlisted for an Inavation Award can have a huge impact. Past finalists have been interviewed on TV, featured in national press, and have celebrated the recognition with a pride that boosts morale across teams. We can’t wait to see how this year’s honourees will be celebrated.
Of course, not every entry could make it to the final list, and the decisions were tough. The different category lengths reflect the volume of entries in each and sadly some fantastic projects didn’t make it through this time. But we want to stress, don’t feel discouraged if you didn’t get through this year. The calibre of entries has never been higher, and we encourage everyone to keep aiming for the top.
So here’s to the 2024 finalists, raising the bar for the entire industry and reminding us all why innovation in AV deserves to be celebrated.
