Evangelismos General Hospital in Athens is one of the country's oldest hospitals, with a history dating back to 1884.
In 2024, Telmaco SA proudly partnered with the hospital to implement an innovative two-phase project:
1. Renovation of the hospital’s auditorium into a learning and collaboration space.
2. Integration of the 1st Digital Operating Room, offering research and educational capabilities.

The newly renovated auditorium offers advanced capabilities, including:

The connection of the hospital’s Digital Operating Room enhances research and educational capabilities:
• Bidirectional Transmission: Uncompressed, UHD audio and video transfer between the Digital Operating Room and the Auditorium.
• Live Streaming: Real-time audio and video transmission from the operating room to the auditorium.
• Recording and Broadcasting: Capability to record and share video content for future educational purposes.
• High-Quality Connectivity: Ensures optimal performance for specialised applications like the Real-Time Location System (RTLS).
• Future-Ready Infrastructure: Provision for connecting additional operating rooms to the auditorium as needed.
