Projection mapping and Robe lighting was deployed to celebrate the South African presidential inauguration with a show on the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
Designer Chris de Lancey from Immersive Show Technology created the architectural lighting scheme which used Robe Esprite moving lights and a Robe iBolt.

The building has a 285m-long façade and is semi-circular with two side wings that were used as a backdrop for South African flags created by two 40K projectors.
Robe distributor DWR provided and set up the Robe fixtures, programming the iBolt using a small console so it blasted up into the night sky and cycled through several colourful effects.

The Esprites were rigged on truss tower sections on the other side of a road that passes directly in front of the buildings.
